On a #Trenitalia #Frecciarossa 1000 High Speed Train from #Verona to #Rome. There’s a #Bistro’ sort of @diningcar in the consist. Additionally I get a free snack box and drinks at my seat. We are speeding through Tuscany at 250 kph on the #Direttissima, in service since 1977.

- pour le retour vas te faire voir tu vas payer plus cher mon garçon : 58€ et tu arrives à Paris en soirée 
Les prix d'appel ne fonctionnent pas totalement en aller/retour.
Ah et autre aventure. J'ai pris un AR Lyon /Paris pour fin févier, un dimanche (obligation) = 90€.
En semaine y'a le TGV italien de la #frecciarossa à 23€ l'aller toutes les heures 
Donc #sncf marge sur le droit de péage et blinde ses tarifs??
On a #FrecciaRossa (must be Italian for f*ing fast train) between Milano and Roma.
Can't help but measure its Internet, one thing I noticed is that COLT (AS8220) providers internet connectivity for onboard free wifi, and on all 3 devices I checked the external IP is the same. So maybe the whole train is on a single IPv4 address at 300km/h?
Kudos #BGPtools for having this on the front page, so it was a breeze to ask my 12yo to check this!
What a stressless day trip to #Venice 
#FrecciaRossa from #Roma #Tiburtina to #Venezia Santa Lucia, backpack to the left luggage office, five hours to enjoy this wonderful pedestrian-only city, and then back to Roma #Termini, softly seated 
As I needed the #interrail travel day anyway for the following night #train this trip was only 2x 13€ for the reservations, 6€ to store my backpack and 1,50€ for a restroom near Basilica di San Marco
Just finished reservations for tomorrow, roughly 1700 km
I guess this is going to set my km-per-#interrail-day record for a while… 
Take the #train, relax and... enjoy the #panorama, they say... well, this is the view from my seat in the #trenitalia #FrecciaRossa from #Trieste to #Milan...
(And it's the same every two rows)

First leg of the #Interrail trip to Rome was a 1h ride from Verona to Bologna, with the same #Railjet that took us to Verona but in an older generation of carriages.
After a gelato stop in Bologna, we got on the high speed pride of the Trenitalia fleet, the #Frecciarossa 1000, going non-stop to Rome in a couple of hours.
We were fully reaping the benefits of 1st class: The box of snacks came with a (paper) cup of prosecco. Later the espresso trolley rolled through to serve freshly made coffee.
Wie ich doch diese 
ausländischen Züge in die #Schweiz hasse… echt! Fast jedesmal unglaubliche Verspätungen.

Liebe #DeutscheBahn, liebe #FrecciaRossa nehmt doch endlich mal den Stock aus dem A**** und bringt eure Infrastruktur in Ordnung. Das ist einfach eine Katastrophe.
