Danilo<p>And finally: A looong glide (plus two thermals) from the Weissmies peak (4017m) down to Domodossola (240m).</p><p>That flight took a bit of planning. The direct route over Passo di Pontimia would have been shorter, but the Valle di Bognanco looks pretty unlandable. concretedog<p>My in between everything else project for the last couple of days has been this "Cloud Tramp" rubber <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/freeflight" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>freeflight</span></a> plane. Theres a commemorative mass launch event in the UK on the 5th August and a few of the local crew are gonna fly em.</p>
–modo ⚛️ 🧬 🇪🇺 🇨🇦 🇺🇦<p>It's been almost 5 years since I quit paragliding due to an almost very bad accident (dodged a bullet) but I can still relate to this. concretedog<p>Still making iterations of smaller Rogallo wing models as well as working the larger one. I think this one is ripe for some extra development as it flies/glides very nicely.
