I finished the first half of my MS #Analytics #OMSA degree at #GaTech & am looking ahead to my #Practicum in which I "apply previously learned concepts & classroom teachings to a project of significant interest, either w/ [my] current organization, an internship, or third-party company or a #GT partner company. The objective of the practicum is to properly define & scope the analytics project, apply appropriate methodologies, create value, manage the project, & provide results in writing."

Just finished my final exam and am kicking off a 16 day break until my summer session

I still have a ton of work to do for my job and around the house, but it’ll be nice to not have to deal with school for a minute.

I was sick for 4-5 days starting 2 weeks ago and let me tell you, there is no less opportune time to get sick during a semester than during the first few weeks. I have been swimming upstream through a fire hose of boot camps, lessons, videos, assignments, assessments, etc.

This weekend will probably suck but I should be able to catch up. Luckily (Unfortunately?) it coincides with the end of #Drynuary & the beginning of #Februmary.

Georgia Tech vs Georgia is a rivalry that’s funny to me.

I went to Tech for my master’s degree and learned about the “Good Ol Fashioned Hate” rivalry. One of my classmates went to both #UGA and #GT - the “rivalry” was very one-sided like a little brother hating the bigger brother.

So, it’s always funny to see #GaTech fighting their hardest against UGA
