lobster<p>Today I was the best worst,</p><p>My Dad (PBUH) once made emergency <a href="https://defcon.social/tags/soup" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>soup</span></a> for the first time since being a bachelor... and burnt it. </p><p>Recently I made the worst soup EVER. :skullspin: </p><p>- I used a soup mix of mixed <a href="https://defcon.social/tags/pulses" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>pulses</span></a>, by pouring kettle boiled water over split peas, dried beans etc in a <a href="https://defcon.social/tags/thermos" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>thermos</span></a>, left overnight. First mistake.<br>- To this I had added a mixture of whole <a href="https://defcon.social/tags/garlic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>garlic</span></a>, turmeric, pepper and cloves. Second mistake.<br>- Smelled it the next day. Another mistake...Yuk. 👃🏿 <br>- Vowed to feed it to our local <a href="https://defcon.social/tags/pond" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>pond</span></a> birds but left it a bit too long (several days). :02blush: The mistakes are coming thick and fast...<br>- Put thermos in a nice satchel. It leaked. Into the satchel. On my summer coat. Down my trousers...<br>- Came home smelling of sick :haggard: </p><p>Only a real human can do this. :blobfoxthisisfine: </p><p>Wait till we have home robots making soup! Prepare to die or learn to make soup. :chef_kiss:</p>

Pollinators<p>July 26, 2025. Let’s ferment kkakdugi with purslane. Daikon, purslane, and green beans are dependable garden crops in southern Minnesota. The pastes are fermented crops from the garden. And the ginger is store bought. The salt brine is covering the vegetables six hours later. Very pleased with the large sized bulbs. </p><p>About 50 more bulbs to dig up.
