Most of her family were potters. My cousin was a modeller for Doulton ladies, and I've got several made from his models.</p><p>My sister has much of my mothers china collection - she was a cup handler, and I've often seen the lines she worked on in period TV dramas, such as Lark Rise to Candleford.</p>

Sadly nowadays "brown furniture" has little value, being overshadowed by rather more modern mid century such as Ercol.</p><p>The only change/major work to the table was done by my sister ... she had the top and leaves refinished in the 1970s(?)
