#Hopescrolling: #GeneralStrike in #Serbia.

"CLOSED: Today we're with the youth." Quite a few are joining in a day
of general strike or "general civil disobedience." Serbian students
have been on strike and in the streets for two months now in #protest
against lethal levels of corruption that killed 15 in a building collapse
last year, and against the regime violence they have been met with.

And then the penny dropped - this is what I’ve been doing all week.

Kamala #Harris is Hope.

She gives it.

She makes you believe the worst doesn’t have to happen.

She’s clued up without being smug.

You feel she gets the frustrations that everyone who is NOT a white, straight, Republican voting man has been feeling for a very long time.

This is hard for me. Since 2020 I’ve been scared of politicians offering Hope.

For all my lovely 763 followers, I am going to be posting more politics than usual to try and support #KamalaHarris so might want to mute me until 2025 if not interested.

Last week I had swore off the “news” online because doomscrolling is so unhealthy for me. But now, #hopescrolling has poured 5,000 gallons of premium rocket fuel onto my interest in the election .
