Well, #Insomnia strikes again. Second time this week; although Monday morning it was just a loss of an hour. Last night I only GOT about 4 in.

Too many things on my mind. One of these days maybe my overactive brain will solve world peace overnight, but until then I will curse at it, desperate for more sleep.

Thank ye gods for coffee.

Ugh so exhausted after standing, running around, stressing at work for 14 hrs that I fall asleep instantly at 9pm

But then I'm wide awake at 1130pm for hours (with more stress and worry and anxiety about everything running thru my mind)

Then I fall back asleep eventually but I am so tired when I have to get up at 430am

This is unsustainable. Does it happen to anyone else? What do you do?

Cognitive Shuffling worked for me the other night. I don't have trouble falling asleep. But I do have trouble getting back to sleep at 4AM. And this worked. Reading can work both ways: it can calm me. But reading can also stimulate me.
