Something #JakeTapper said in a clip I saw sounded utterly reasonable but it bothered me. He said “we treat Kamala Harris like a regular politician.”

Here's what bothers me about that: it's a copout. He's dissembling. She's not a “politician”. She’s a CANDIDATE. And she's not a regular candidate. She's nothing LIKE a regular candidate. And that's nothing to do with her being a woman. Or being Asian or Black. It's to do with who she's running against: an insane fascist.
