Richard<p>I've been thinking abt singer/songwriters leaving their backup band. It never benefits them. <a href="https://scholar.social/tags/JanisJoplin" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>JanisJoplin</span></a> left Big Brother and the Holding Company. <a href="https://scholar.social/tags/HaleyHeynderickx" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>HaleyHeynderickx</span></a> had a great band. Now her former multi-instrumentalist bass player / back up vocals is a music leader for a church outside of <a href="https://scholar.social/tags/Portland" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Portland</span></a>. <a href="https://scholar.social/tags/JuliaJacklin" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>JuliaJacklin</span></a> completely changed bands. This is obvious btw the brilliant album Don't the Kids Win and the nightmare Pre-Pleasure. Learn from the mistakes men make.</p>
