Just need it to be moderated, but once that's out the way I'll officially have level 2 qualifications in customer service for hospitality, cleaning principles, and retail principles. They're very low level qualifications, but something to put on my CV that will hopefully help 🤞</p><p>7 months of studying and I'm finally DONE. Yvan<p>I won't get my hopes up, but it's a good end to the week to have found something that's such a good match. It's going to be one of the best chances I have. (They actually also have a management role going which I could probably just about fit into, but really, I want to write code dammit...)</p><p>Whilst it's actually my very weird CV that makes me, IMO, an ideal fit for the role... also my CV is my key weakness for any software engineering role. Hopefully they can somehow see through the middle of this.</p><p>Meanwhile, I have had a building, raging, headache all day... I don't really get headaches. It's worth a shot, anyway-- my expectations are low but it can't hurt.</p><p>I relied almost exclusively on networking for my last several jobs and that worked very well until the market turned this year- a lot of my network either retired early, were sacked, abandoned ship, or have gone on a <a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/careerchange" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>careerchange</span></a> journey themselves.</p>
