The #Democrats are there to put people to sleep & to stabilize the changes the #GOP made, not to undo them. That's the hard reality you have to face. They're there for the status quo, no matter how debased it has become -- due to the inherent tendency of #capitalism to deteriorate over time.

The #CDC has been letting 1K people die from #COVID every week for years & obfuscating the data, so that people would pretend that everything was "back to normal." It was gutted a long time ago. Same goes for the #NIH, #FDA, & the entire field of Public #Health.
