I'm driving a minivan from the university motor pool this week, and I hate to admit that crawling in traffic in this giant barge with an automatic transmission is marginally less annoying than crawling in traffic with a manual transmission. What would be even better is a train, where someone else has to drive while I listen to Kate Bush and daydream about building the perfect outhouse, complete with bookshelves and a solar vent fan.
Hi-res audio isn’t necessarily better if the underlying remaster isn’t better. All that’s to say that I’m going to the Kate Bush Japanese mini LPs as my main.
