Chao-c'Zprávy jsou plné japonské "první dřevěné družice" a má to velmi dobré důvody. Použití dřeva jako konstrukčního materiálu by do jisté míry řešily problém, které bude mít konstelace Starlink se zánikem obrovského množství svých družic... (na druhou stranu, re-entry hliníkové družice nemá uhlíkovou stopu, pouze hliníkovou a rovnoměrně rozptýlený hliník v atmosféře by teoreticky mohlo jít považovat za klimatický geoinženýring...)Málo se ale ví, že jako první se o stavbu a vypuštění dřevěné družice pokusili Finové.
