For those of you who write short genre fiction, I heard from an old-pro writer the other day that they were offer a contract by the new owner of the former Dell fiction magazines, plus the Magazine of F&SF. It was completely unsignable, and they were unwilling to negotiate, even for someone who has been gracing the covers of their magazines for decades. Total rights grab. They refused to sign it and withdrew all their stories.
