It's been a few years since I've been in Malaga. This one is from November 2018 on a lovely sunny day. I love the "Palmeral de las Sorpresas" pergola is an eye-catching structure along the promenade.

IGUALADA es un término despectivo que soportado en la imbricación de racismo, clasismo y machismo, es usado por la sociedad colombiana para señalar a alguien que actúa con convicción y reclama derechos que supuestamente no le corresponden. IGUALADA es el documental que recoge la lucha de Francia Márquez, una mujer negra defensora del territorio que reclama el ejercicio de una participación política que desafíe la anquilosada estructura política, económica y social de un país como Colombia.
El documental recoge su tránsito dentro de la política, desde 2006 como lideresa social a 2021 con la campaña por la presidencia del país y 2022 como fórmula a la vicepresidencia.
Este grupo de mujeres colombianas organizadas en España creemos imprescindible propiciar estos espacios de reivindicación y memoria, por eso les invitamos a asistir a las proyecciones del documental IGUALADA (2024), dirigido por Juan Mejía
