As much as I love #OpenStreetMap and related tools or electronic maps in general, I still buy analogue #maps for #hiking. Especially with kids it's a much better experience, e.g. letting them plan the route or use it with a compass.

Remember HEM-SAG? It looked at human landing sites on Mars, but each landing went to a different place. In October 2015 A workshop on Human Landing Sites was held at LPI near Houston. These were a different kind of site where successive landings would build up infrastructure. This map shows the global distribution, quite widely scattered. Several were at old landing sites: VIking 1 (site 9), Spirit (21), Opportunity (40), Curiosity (17).
