Pondering the fact that things are worse in the US now than they were in a campy dystopian Tim Burton movie made in the 90s. Congress has effectively incinerated itself. The morning is a bit of a chilly one. -25c with wind chill makes machines at work take longer to get going.

Last night we had a very strange double feature of movies: #TheGreatGatsby and #MarsAttacks, both movies that I hadn’t seen yet.

My partner and I don’t tend to watch a lot of dramas, but Gatsby was quite the tale. The art direction sometime was really over the top which I’m sure is intentional.

Mars Attacks was just a good and goofy time. Don’t run, we’re your friends
