Spent the weekend getting back into the tapestry work. I am kind of disappointed in the accent/shadow color because it looks a bit weird to me but I’m trying to trust the process. This charming but cursed creature is Yumion, my town’s mascot. I am also posting the reference photo to prove he is real. Moon Mascot Needed!

Have you ever wanted to design something that could fly around the Moon? This is your opportunity. The Artemis II astronauts will use a zero gravity indicator during their mission to demonstrate when the Orion spacecraft has reached microgravity. This plushie needs to be soft, small, and importantly, remind us of home.

this sketch (right image) was originally made for KDE VDG issue # 46 (Fedora KDE welcome screen) in april of last year, however, because I was too nervous to present it to the developers and communicate with them, eventually someone else created a graphic and the issue was closed before I could say anything.

recently, I decided to finish it anyway, so it isn't left to collect dust in my hard drive
