A friend looked up the price of bananas at his local “acme" store in the US, and they're 23¢.
I'm surprised the price is so similar, I’d have expected a banano to cost less than a banana. I mean, I'm shopping in what is effectively the Whole Foods of Cuenca, so maybe they're the same as a U.S. Acme.
Ok, I have a kitchen scale, and a banano weighs 1/4 kg. So, about 21.5¢ per banano!
Feeling very accomplished right now.
Ah, it's "banano" en español. Ok, good. But they cost 86¢/kg, and I have no idea how many kg a banano weighs.
Ok, I just checked my last grocery receipt, and discovered more things I don't know. How to spell banana, and how much a banana weighs.
It occurs to me that I do not know how much a banana costs. I mean, less than $10, obviously, but… 25¢? 75¢? 12¢? I buy 4 of them each time I get groceries, along with other fruit and vegetables, but that's all I know.
I'm sorry, but people are doing WHAT?
Narrator: And the lesson they learned is that you should always have others look over your work. The end...
...
Narrator: Just kidding. No lessons were learned. lol

Someone needs to do a meme with Musk talking to himself.
One says "How about this insane idea I know nothing about?" Other Musk says, "Let's do it!"
