I went to Michaels (a craft store chain) to see the LEMAX Christmas Village display (summary: fun, but pricey). I took some pictures, but the backgrounds were so distracting I swapped them out. #michaels #LEMAXChristmasVillage #Christmas #decorations #HoosierMast

I went to Michael's (a chain of craft stores) today and they had the Halloween displays going. I was surprised; I assumed they would have the Christmas stuff set up by now. #michaels #halloween #display #HoosierMast

This is a picture of a small model buildling about a foot high. The sign on the front of the building is lit and says "Fright Night Cinema, Now Playing, Lord of the Things, Special Midnight Showing." There is a ghost standing on a ledge next to the sign and in the big window above the sign, there are ghosts floating in the air. In front of the building is a vampire, a werewolf and a pile of skulls, as well as some scary posters and the person selling tickets doesn't look quite human. The building also has spooky noises emanating from it, though you can't hear them since this is just a still picture. But you can imagine.

This is another small building about a foot high. It is an unusual building made up of 3 houses; each has been built crookedly and looks run down. On the right side of the building is a sign that says, "Haunted Barn" and on the left a sign that says, "Wicked Cider Mill." (I wouldn't buy any cider there if I were you.) A sign on the building in the center says, "Creepy Pumpkin Patch." Its door is framed by a huge pumpkin form, with its mouth gaping open. There are unsavory characters loitering around the entrance, a mummy, a two pumpkin heads, a skeleton and several zombies. There are also skeletal dogs. Or maybe just animated skeletons of dogs. All in all, a place to avoid, though it certainly would make an eye-catching Zillow entry.

I was really inspired by all the #PinkHalloween and skeleton romance stuff I saw in #HomeGoods & #Michaels. Just 1 problem: the romantic skeletons were gender-coded by postures, outfits, accessories, etc.

So here are mine: gender neutral skeletons enjoying their bathtub & pink bubblies drinks (pink bubbly drinks are gender neutral no I'm not taking questions)
