Tuuli M. (domestic goblin)<p>As they say, "go big or go home"</p><p>I spent the last 2 weeks deferring my job work until next week (boss is on holiday), sleeping at most 3 hours a night (because heat wave), to do absolutely nothing but paint this and my "25 years later" repaint thing for the con this weekend. So it better be f-ing enough to get my name on the results page</p><p>Anyway, fun fact about this model is that I used no black paint except on the edge of the stand.</p><p><a href="https://dice.camp/tags/nerdlings" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>nerdlings</span></a> <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/MiniaturePainting" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>MiniaturePainting</span></a> <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/MiniPainting" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>MiniPainting</span></a> <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/ConquestTLAOK" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ConquestTLAOK</span></a></p>
John Johnston<p>My first two tries at Cthulhu: Death May Die protagonists: Sylvia (the ex-cultist) and Bruno (the...Italian). </p><p>Still working on the fundamentals—and patience. </p><p><a href="https://dice.camp/tags/minipainting" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>minipainting</span></a></p>

Finally finished a two-sided board for whenever I need a board. One side is a simple 1" stone floor grid that can work as either a city or dungeon, so I set up a little scene to see how it fits with some stuff I made previously. I've been fighting the urge to make buildings, but now I feel I have to. And stackers. And stairs. And statues. And fountains. And other stuff.

Painted my fourth mini.

Still struggling with highlighting and brush control. Also, I think I'll hold off trying to dry brush again until I get my painting fundamentals down. Just made a mess.

Also, I hate this matte varnish—probably bad application on my part, but I might try glossy next time.

Still having fun, though. Onward and upward.
