J’ai eu envie de peindre juste pour le plaisir, faire une pause dans mon travail, dans mon stress et ma course quotidienne, sur une chute de papier je me laisse porter 🧚

Trois toutes petites aquarelles en cours : une forêt lumineuse, un tapis de fleurs jaune et de verdure. Un ciel bleu avec des branches fleuries et des papillons jaunes. On distingue au loin comme des coquelicots sur la troisième. En fond on peut voir ma palette d’aquarelle et des pinceaux, un carnet de croquis.

A2 I think the butler’s dresser in our kitchen was a big deal for me in making an actual miniature piece of furniture that is fully functional at 1/12 scale. A friend cut the pieces for me with her laser cutting machine but I planned it and then did all the joints and assembly myself. Since then family members have bought me a miniature table saw and a fret saw as gifts - so now I can cut at home but even so these windows would be better laser cut. #No52 #WoodWorking #miniatures

Really wanted to get some painting in this weekend but didn’t quite get there. Did manage to get a bunch of stuff based / primed though:

- My kid’s Raven Guard AoD #KillTeam — he’s been carefully kitbashing these which has been delightful to see. When he had the idea he asked me if we could look for some printable bird skull helmets and it turned out that was very doable!
- A proxied Hunter Clade kt I’ve been building — still waiting on the awkward oval base for one of the gunners though. Really happy with the customised ruststalkers / infiltrators!
- The extra models I’ve built for my beaky AoD kill team — these had been sat waiting to be based / primed for a while…

A very populous Angels of Death kill team, kitbashed by the 13yo from the starter set, various intercessors, 3d printed parts, and a bunch of stuff from the bits box. They all have bird skull helmets. Also Kayvaan Shrike is there

Hey #MiniaturePainting peeps, how do you feel about the different paint #storage solutions and what different sizes of bottles do you end up with.

I'm finally working on getting back to it after *many* years, and am trying to prep and get set up. Aside from general #craft paint 59ml bottles I've grabbed a Vallejo bottle and one of the squat GW citadel base ones for reference.

Saw some #3DPrinting solution in a recent video, but I think I need to design my own.

I made a new post/video about my #drow #miniature for #dnd. My drow #mini has really pale white skin because black skin on drow in #dnd5e is pretty #racist AND is very wrong biologically. Pasty & white makes more sense. I also talk quite a bit about the science of #darkvision. Don't get too excited though, because there's not much official info out there, so I'm mostly digging around in the dark (he he).
