Yesterday was a long day... at least it was for a retired guy who regularly naps in the afternoons. Early Friday morning, I made the 1.5 hour drive to Innisfil for the house inspection on our new home. After 3 hours, we had a long list of mostly minor issues and a report that deemed the home solid with no major issues. Late last night, we signed the final documents, and we will soon be Innisfilians.

Looked at 4 houses today in the Innisfil area and we have one solid option with the other 3 eliminated. One broke my heart - spectacular garage perfect for a golf simulator attached to a house with too many issues.
Another 4 house viewings scheduled for tomorrow, one of which coincidentally is two streets away from my brother's cottage.
We signed the offer back, asking for another 5%. I'm not religious, but I'll pray for a successful deal by listening to some favourite blues.

Our house is not officially for sale but our agent contacted us yesterday to request a showing for Saturday. Apparently, one of the very interested potential buyers from last fall want to revisit before they make an offer. They're likely worried our house will sell quickly in the spring.
So today, we're vacuuming, dusting, and polishing all day after several weeks of more "relaxed" house cleaning. Got my C&W playlist to help me git-r-done...

It's day whatever of what I hope will be my last fall cleanup of our 1 acre yard. Our house goes back on the market next spring so this thread is a historical record of what I'll be missing. Temperature is 1.4°C so I got the long underwear on.
