Noe Valley SF<p>Sanchez Next-Gen Slow Street Project headed to public hearing</p><p>We have worked with the community to develop a suite of upgrades for the Sanchez Slow Street to build on its success with more permanent, attractive, and easier-to-maintain elements at intersections, including concrete bulb islands at some block entries, painted safety zones, and daylighting.</p><p>The SFMTA also received a Bloomberg Asphalt Art Initiative grant to support street mural installations on Sanchez Street in collaboration with the San Francisco Parks Alliance. KristinHenry<p>I stopped by today, at the end of a walk, and picked up a bunch of books. It was just so lovely to be in an independent bookshop again. So comforting and lovely. I had the chicken pho and split some egg rolls which were tasty.</p>

Noe Valley SF<p>After some feedback and hearings the SFMTA is making changes to the J Church: </p><p>"The agency will soon be making the following changes:</p><p>At Church and 28th streets, the existing 2-way stop sign will change to a 4-way stop sign, to help reduce vehicle collisions and improve safety.</p><p>"The existing Clipper Street stops will be moved to 26th Street and the 27th Street stops will be relocated to 28th Street.</p><p>"Once these changes take effect, the J Church will stop primarily at even numbered streets and the maximum spacing between stops on Church Street will be reduced from 1,590 feet to 1,170 feet.
