今日はパイセンといろいろ話しをしてて、私が『ジェンダー不在』の感覚を、あくまで私が感じてる性別違和感や微妙感について話しをしたら、何一つ否定することなく神妙に真摯に話を聞いてくれた。
「その“ジェンダーが無い”という感覚は、いつ頃からそう意識できたの？」とか、挟んでくれる問いも、続けて話ししやすくてありがたかったです。
「“LGBTQ”っていうコミュニティってなんだか今までは遠くの話だとばっかり思ってたけど、そうじゃないんだね。ハーちゃんの話を聞いて、本当に人生でこんなに(LGBTQを)身近に感じたことなかった。なんか、感動というかすごいいい話を聞かせてもらえた気がしてる。私、変な質問しちゃってないかな？初めてのことだから。いや〜、私に話してくれて良かったのかな？なんて言ったらいいかわからないけど、話してくれてありがとう

Today, someone replied to a year-old comment I made on a @wikidata discussion about sex and gender, where some editors apparently think that since (by their estimate) fewer than 1% of people are #trans or #nonbinary, the distinction between sex and gender can be simply ignored.
The Earth's population is currently approximately 8.2 billion people. That makes, in their consideration, approximately 82 million of us simply a rounding error. Nice to know.
