Daniel Carkner🥀<p>I'm so obsessed with the opening credits and theme song of What we Do in the Shadows (the song You're Dead by Norma Tanega). Even though I've probably watched the credits through 50 times by now it gives me goosebumps every time😲probably this and Peacemaker are the only two 2020s opening credits that hypnotize me into watching them through every time.<br><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V4jUZ-Ex1k0&amp;ab_channel=NormaTanega-Topic" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="ellipsis">youtube.com/watch?v=V4jUZ-Ex1k</span><span class="invisible">0&amp;ab_channel=NormaTanega-Topic</span></a></p><p><a href="https://historians.social/tags/OpeningCredits" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>OpeningCredits</span></a> <a href="https://historians.social/tags/WWDITS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>WWDITS</span></a> <a href="https://historians.social/tags/NormaTanega" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>NormaTanega</span></a></p>

She had a hit with the single "Walkin' My Cat Named Dog" in 1966, reaching #22 on the US charts. The song tells the story of living in a New York City apartment building that did not allow dogs; instead she owned a cat which she named "Dog" and took for walks. </p><p>While traveling in England to promote her music she met Dusty Springfield resulting in a 5-year relationship.
