Super Mario Galaxy (Wii) - 242 Stars
After finishing the 120 stars playthrough with Mario four months ago, now Luigi waits for the takeover to achieve all 242 stars.
Luigi can jump higher than Mario but has worse traction. He also runs slightly faster but takes longer to reach top speed.
Also using a patch to play with Wii Classic Pro Controller.

Final Fantasy X International (PS2)
3 hours into the game and an awesome Final Fantasy experience so far; OSSC Pro performs very well.
Playing Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins tomorrow starting at 8 or 9 PM EST on Twitch / Youtube / Instagram. I'll post before going live.
The last days I spent configuring my #OSSC to get the best capture quality out of my #PS1.
It's quite challenging as the PS1 supports multiple resolutions based on the game. Even the same game sometimes outputs different resolutions. For example both the #GranTurismo titles output 320x240 during races and 640x480 in the menus.
To test I loaded...
1/2
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for Master System obviously should be played in 8:7 pixel aspect ratio like shown in the video below. It's recognizable by checking the ring in the counter at the top left. It's round now and not oval. That also means that the 4:3 display aspect ratio of CRT's for this game was to wide.
Very likely this game will be my next %-challenge. Looking forward to getting all emeralds.
First attempts with the #OSSC work out fine so far. The generic profiles are ok but to get a quality, that is comparable to my RGB datapath capture card, fine tuning is necessary.
Luckily retro scaling legend FirebrandX provides his heavily optimized profiles for the OSSC. The result can be seen in the video.
First assessment: Now I can and will stream original retro hardware on #Linux.
Coming soon to a JCM-1.com near you - J21 breakout adapters for the #Apple #Macintosh SE & SE/30. Finally, you just use a bench power supply and a #RGBtoHDMI or #OSSC to troubleshoot boards!
I have an unplanned video out - Amiga Video Capture: OSSC, VGA and SCART.
How do I get on with this little experiment?
