Apparently this book #Owned argues the tech billionaires indirectly bought #GlennGreenwald and #MattTaibbi. Maybe. I do think media ownership always influences the content. And also that creators come to recognize how to shape their content to get popular with different crowds. But #CitationsNeeded always claims that if you're not their version of left on an issue, something bad faith is going on. And none of these folks ever say this all demands media decentralization.

The cat now has me trained to scoop a hearty snack into his bowl by midnight, in order to prevent the threatened 3am guerilla begging.

He used to meow meow meow repeatedly until I was willing to watch Death Metal videos as an alternative. It was a point of principle, but his loud, persistent middle of the night campaigns were like clockwork. So I caved. Now at 3-3:30am William melodically mumbles under his breath, but doesn’t yawl me out of bed.

I’m officially owned.

William the talkative Tuxedo, making a kitty loaf in contrast to his 3am barrages of starvation claims. He has Charlie Chaplin markings, a bit of a belly, milk chocolate colored eyes and a sweet temperament until the middle of the night. He’s perched on his favorite royal purple blanket. I’m one owned human. His official name is Sweet William, the rescue shelter thought he was a good boy too. 🐾

Just don't do the #Cloud, because it's a #scam that aims to bleed companies and organizations dry of #money.

I know this because I was involved in said projects where the disrespectful increase of #costs for #CloudComputing turned the #ROI from decades into years if not quarters at the projected increase of workloads.
