Mose<p>Anyone dailying a Linux touch device? What's the best distro/desktop? I bought a Panasonic Toughpad FZ-M1 MK3 with LTE about a month ago. It's a 7" tablet with Intel i5-7Y57, 8GiB memory and eventually a bigger SSD. I find most of my hardware is actually recognized on the distros I've tried. I just haven't had a great experience with KDE, Gnome or Phosh so far. Seeking advice on desktops, distros, configs. Only thing I can't seem to make boot and work with the hardware is <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/qubesos" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>qubesos</span></a>. </p><p>I'm worn out trying to keep Android and Windows privacy controls set in a way that favors me and not Google/Android, so I'm hoping to make this be both a non-minimal and a non-dark-pattern default device. I don't want less function, I want to not have a jumpscare from Google Assistant or Microsoft Edge "updating" into being my default app. I want enough SSD to store all my stuff off cloud.</p><p><a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>linux</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/touch" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>touch</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/phosh" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>phosh</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/kde" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>kde</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/gnome" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>gnome</span></a></p>
