Artist and writer James Bridle was unanimously awarded the biennial Architectural Theory Prize by the Schelling Architecture Foundation in June this year for their “outstanding contributions to architectural theory”.

But on Sunday, ahead of the awards ceremony scheduled for today, Bridle was informed the foundation’s committee would not award them with the prize because they had co-signed a call for a boycott of Israeli cultural institutions.

💡Did you know? You do NOT need any previous game development experience in joining Timothy Green's Game Jam. All you need to do is think of a game you'd like to make, join the Jam, then start creating!

There are plenty of game engines and game-creating software that's absolutely FREE to use (Godot, Unreal, GB Studio, Source, etc. - I wouldn't recommend Unity, but it *is* an option).

You can also start completely from scratch (you daredevil, you)! Python, C++, HTML5, and Java are some of the coding bases that make up a big majority of games available today. For most of them, a basic text editor will do, but I recommend Bluefish, as it will color-code your syntax based on your programming language of choice (and it's open-source, and FREE!).
