Say, hypothetically, if I wanted to start a pubmed.gov equivalent in Canada and I wanted the Canadian gov to fund that. What would the process look like?

#ERIC, c'est un peu le #Pubmed de l'Education : une sélection rigoureuse de sources de publication, une indexation manuelle des publications selon un thésaurus régulièrement mis à jour, la transparence des mises à jour. Et à présent la même crainte d'une grande révision de DOGE-ing pour mise en conformité avec les prescriptions anti#DEI.
D'ailleurs Eric et Pubmed sont souvent utilisés conjointement pour les revues systématiques en éducation (croisant les aspects médicaux/psy/toxicité/bien-être, etc.), aux côtés d'autres bases.

The news from the US is unsettling, not least for medical information specialists. Siw Waffenschmidt, Head of our Department of Information Management, asks @hildabast, author of the blog 'Absolutely Maybe' and former NIH employee, for an assessment of the situation regarding PubMed and #ClinicalTrials.gov. How can all of us prepare for possible PubMed downtimes or deficiencies?
I've been pulling #NIH data for weeks now, so if the #pubmed article you're looking for isn't there any more, there's a chance it's in this archive, but I clearly didn't get to all of them in time. The repo is laid out in website hierarchy and refer to the commit timestamp if you need a retrieval reference for citation.
Today I noticed a heck of a lot of 404's when I was fetching #pubmed data. Seems there was a thorough gutting there this week. Links to articles are still there but the articles themselves are going missing en masse. I'm going to continue to grab and post what I can here:

Ik dronk al geen cola, maar heb nu eerst maar eens de New York Times en Netflix opgezegd. Afkomen van de techreuzen wordt een zaak van de lange adem. #Boycott Ik ga er maar vanuit dat alle kleine beetjes helpen en ik zet het er ook bij als reden voor mijn afzegging. Op zoek naar een alternatief voor #GoogleScholar en #pubmed kwam ik hierop uit: https://europepmc.org/ Iemand ervaring mee? Ik doe vooral veel wetenschappelijke searches in de biologie en biomedische hoek, maar ook klimaat. #FCKTRMP
