Sad sign of the times from #PurdueUniversity (where my son just graduated):

They were caught pulling down and painting over murals in the Pharmacy Department that promoted such controversial(?) values as "respect", "community outreach", "intercultural development" and, of course, the newly forbidden concepts of "diversity" and "equity." Yes, Purdue is a giant research university and depends on Federal research grants but it is extremely sad to see them caving to this regime's speech-quelling fear campaign.

Maybe related or not: #Purdue also announced this week that they are stopping distribution of the student newspaper, The Exponent, after 50 years.
