Today we has mostly been (once again) watching aeroplanes showing off. #RIAT

The six F-5E Tiger jets of the Swiss Air Force's Patrouille Suisse display team fly in a delta formation.

Each plane is painted red with a large white cross on its underbelly, like the Swiss flag.

A CF-18 Hornet of the Royal Canadian Air Force in flight. It's an impresive looking fighter jet with a Canadian maple leaf painted on its underneath.

I can't remember what this one is but I think it's the Saab Gripen of the Swedish Air Force. There was certainly one of those displaying, but then there were an awful lot of fighter jets full stop.

Two BAE Hawks of the Royal Saudi Air Force display team in flight. One is flying normally, one is inverted. They are flying in tandem, no more than a few metres apart from each other. Like the rest of the aircraft in that display team they are painted in green and white horizontal stripes.
