Trump will do whatever he deems is in his best interest and will sacrifice any or all of them without a second thought.
I want you to follow the example set by Maine Governor Janet Mills, by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and by Senator Cory Booker to stand up, use strong, factually accurate language, and cite specific examples when Republicans have promised one thing to their constituents and another in legislation. We want strong, assertive leadership from you, and we want you to get loud.
We need all of this documented in detail every day. Put a running tally on your congressional website. Get the documentation in local newspapers in Republican-leaning parts of the state. We need every lie, every reversal of position, and every caving-in on critical issues in the news constantly.
This is not about the midterm elections. This is not about gathering fodder for campaign commercials. This is about factual accuracy and policy issues that we care about. Keep it simple, factual, and focused on the harm being done to all Americans by this administration.
