Did some zig-zag running this morning, or what they call intervals. It wasn't exactly flat, though on the photo it is hard to see if the road goes up or down or is flat... 🤔

Machte einen zick-zack Lauf heute Morgen, was man wohl Interval Training nennt. Es war nicht eben, auch wenn auf dem Bild nicht wirklich zu erkennen ist, ob der Weg hoch oder runter geht... 🤔

No video yet from the #Harvel5 yesterday, but I found a good one from 2018. So this was the #running event I did yesterday. Tried to edit the video down to post instead of a link, but could basically only get the start in, which is arguably a bit boring. But if anyone's interested, here you go. Drone footage of a very picturesque English country #run between hedgerows and through a local village and forest, starting and ending at a village green with stalls. Lots of brightly coloured #runners. Lovely day out. Although I'm in pain today.

This may sound weird…but I am a fully signed up member of the weirdo club, so it’s unsurprising!

When you can’t go for an actual run, does anyone else go for a non-physical ‘mind run’ to try and clear their head? I have a really hard time switching my brain off - I wish I had a standby mode which just shut me down to basic life support for a few hours!

For example, if I’m struggling to get to sleep because my brain is churning, I imagine I’m out for a run on a route I know well and I think about every part of it, even to the point of slowing down on the uphill bits. It really helps me to get to sleep!
