Ariadna Vigo
Everyone who codes should read SICP, but especially its first chapter. The authors had an amazing insight on semiotics that I have cited very frequently in Linguistics circles as one of the best approaches to meaning, denotation, and abstraction ever.

This book (and the accompanying course, available on YouTube for free) is a gem.
