I am certain that there are good phones on the market which can run a pure Linux distribution designed for Android phones and I know for a fact that there are a couple of those distributions.

Naturally I'm not telling you what to do, but what I'm advising you is not to go back to the Apple ecosystem

You will pay enormous amount of money for very low quality Hardware

The Security of 🍎 is tokenized marketing. When You put enough GPU power on it, enough server power on it, iPhones have been & can be cracked, the new ones also.

In fact an Android with an encrypted internal drive and encrypted microSD card is safer than an iPhone!

Naturally the Android needs to be current Operating System one of the latest and standard practices of safety need to be executed

I'm not going to talk about Google's super invasive practices, we both know how horrific they are.

An example of recognition by association

What I also know is that even though I have never put a photograph of mine on FB and I use electrical tape to cover my front facing cameras, my loved ones have put my face over there by shooting photographs in riding sessions with me in groups

The point I'm making, is that even when you don't use anything from Google, others who love you, who are close to you & don't know anything about safety {or don't care} have still send information off about you to them.

I have similar experiences with apple system recognizing my voice; I have no iPhone I'm not going to pay EUR 2000 to EUR 5000 for a apple 🍎 ecosystem phone, but friends of mine have and they have spoken with me where the iPhone is on them. That's how their voice recognition system recognized my voice, pulled my name from the address base from my female friend and then talked to me

So our loved ones surrounding us, still send our data away

The Linux phones I'm talking about are phones which from scratch come with a pure Linux only installation
They don't come in cumbered with a black box operating system by Android

I've seen I think four to five of those Linux Androids

Expert backs push to seize #drunk #drivers' cars
👍"Office of the Attorney-General's new guidelines on #drunkdriving cases, which enable #courts to #confiscate an offender's #vehicle to deter future offences.. drunk driving cases reflect a clear disregard for the #safety & well-being of others, which could be grounds for asset forfeiture.. the measure will lose its #deterrent effect if it isn't #consistently #enforced as a result of #corruption" #responsibility #governance
