I just realized the ferry from American Samoa to Samoa left Pago Pago Harbor around 4pm today local time and is currently in transit in the open South Pacific Ocean between Tutuila Island in American Samoa and Upolu Island in Samoa. I was at the ferry dock earlier today and it looked like less than 100 passengers would be on board plus the crew. ETA at Apia Harbor in Samoa, 1pm local time (in 15+ hrs).
