I don't think the earth is flat, but it is an interesting problem in <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/epistemology" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>epistemology</span></a>.</p><p>A model needs to explain observations if it is to be believed.</p><p>Lately, I've been thinking about day length as seasons change, and how cycle is opposite for southern hemisphere. Can FE explain that? I don't see how.
