Carolannie<p>A slow walk in the park amid the snow critters. I thought they were a person with a stick to throw for the dog, and a rabbit nearby. But maybe a shepherd herding rabbits or unicorns?<br><a href="https://c.im/tags/Photography" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Photography</span></a> <a href="https://c.im/tags/SeattleWashington" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>SeattleWashington</span></a> <a href="https://c.im/tags/SeattleWinter" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>SeattleWinter</span></a> <a href="https://c.im/tags/SnowCritters" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>SnowCritters</span></a></p>
Jan Thie<p>Most of my snow critters I snap (up) as I find them. Sometimes, I see one still locked in snow and then I will give it a helping hand, or a stick, in this case. </p><p>Normally (linguistically speaking!) you poke someone's eye out with a stick. With snow critters you use that stick to poke them a new one instead.</p><p>(If you like the post, please boost, so others may have the chance to see it as well.)</p><p><a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/SnowCritters" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>SnowCritters</span></a><br><a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/TheBroomStickOfCreation" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>TheBroomStickOfCreation</span></a></p>
Jan Thie<p>He ain't heavy, he is my piggybacking weird little snow brother.</p><p><a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/StoneCat" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>StoneCat</span></a><br><a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/SnowCritters" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>SnowCritters</span></a><br><a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/HeAintHeavy" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>HeAintHeavy</span></a><br><a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Piggyback" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Piggyback</span></a></p><p>(If you like the post, please boost.)</p>
Jan Thie<p>I do like taking snow critter pics. </p><p>As the second photo shows, I did remove some snow to make the big bullying beast on top of my wind-breaker hedge stand out more.<br>I made no changes at all to the cute little fellow halfway up the right side of the hedge. He is exactly as I first saw him.<br>(I did use a stick to give the big lizard-y brute an eye.)</p><p>(You know the drill; if you like this, please boost, so others have the chance to see this.)</p><p><a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/SnowCritters" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>SnowCritters</span></a> <br><a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/SnowSculpting" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>SnowSculpting</span></a></p>
Jan Thie<p>(Sorry: repost. I think I accidentally made it a private post.)</p><p>More snow critters, hiding in a tree in my garden. I saw the one with the long tail first, and yes, I used a small twig to bore him an eye, and I brushed some snow from the top of its head, to make it stand out more. When I was taking a few pics of critter one, I noticed critter two above it. A protective mama, a hungry predator? I gave it eyes too.</p><p>As always, if you like the post, please boost.</p><p><a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/SnowCritters" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>SnowCritters</span></a><br><a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Snow" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Snow</span></a><br><a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/WinterTrees" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>WinterTrees</span></a></p>
