Jorah<p>Selling soap at the Spring Lace Day in Chapel Hill, NC today. <a href="https://wandering.shop/tags/soapmaking" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>soapmaking</span></a></p>
Aaron C<p>This may have been the ugliest soap I’ve ever made but it may be the best performer. Cleans well. Feels great. Instant creamy lather. Smells fantastic.</p><p>So happy with the result. 😁</p><p><a href="https://masto.ai/tags/SoapMaking" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SoapMaking</span></a> <a href="https://masto.ai/tags/soap" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>soap</span></a></p>

Ulrike Heiß<p>Gestern Abend habe ich einen Gummihammer erworben und vielleicht habe ich heute Abend sogar Zeit, ihn zu benutzen. <a href="https://eldritch.cafe/tags/SoapMaking" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SoapMaking</span></a></p>
Aaron C<p>This is the ugliest soap I’ve ever made. The color is a gross green-ish gray with lots of soda ash (which i don’t really care about). Smells wonderful, though, thanks to the Shave and a Haircut scent from Brambleberry. Seems to be on the right path to being a good soap after a few more weeks of curing. 🤞</p><p><a href="https://masto.ai/tags/SoapMaking" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SoapMaking</span></a> <a href="https://masto.ai/tags/soap" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>soap</span></a></p>
ZeepmolI was given some laurel. And made this laurel soap, with laurel oil, laurel hydrosol and essential oil of laurel (duh), juniper, eucalyptus and orange. It came out very nice!!! <a href="https://gram.social/discover/tags/naturalsoap?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#naturalsoap</a> <a href="https://gram.social/discover/tags/soap?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#soap</a> <a href="https://gram.social/discover/tags/soapmaking?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#soapmaking</a>
MichelleLong overdue! I was meant to make soap a month ago. We had to *gasp* buy soap! I will be apologizing to my skin until this is ready to go! 4.5L before it went into the moulds. 70% coconut oil, 30% olive oil, determined entirely by what I had on hand. Should be good lather. <br> <br> <a href="https://pixelfed.de/discover/tags/Soap?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Soap</a> <a href="https://pixelfed.de/discover/tags/SoapMaking?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#SoapMaking</a> <a href="https://pixelfed.de/discover/tags/HomemadeSoap?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#HomemadeSoap</a>

Aaron C<p>I didn’t have any sacrificial towels at the new house, so I buried the soap in packing paper to insulate it . 😎🧼🧼</p><p><a href="https://masto.ai/tags/SoapMaking" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SoapMaking</span></a></p>
Aaron C<p>Time to make some soap! It’s been way too long. </p><p><a href="https://masto.ai/tags/SoapMaking" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SoapMaking</span></a></p>
Ulrike Heiß<p>This is the final result just before I wrapped the soaps and sent them on their way. (Sorry, just found this in my drafts, had forgotten all about it.) 10/x<br><a href="https://eldritch.cafe/tags/SoapMaking" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SoapMaking</span></a></p>
Ulrike Heiß<p>A few days ago I made soap dough to make roses as a decoration for a - you guessed it - rose soap. I hope I'll find the time to give that a try today.<br><a href="https://eldritch.cafe/tags/SoapMaking" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SoapMaking</span></a></p>

I also presented them in a nice box. 6kg of soap on the table!</p><p><a href="https://tooting.ch/tags/savon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>savon</span></a> <a href="https://tooting.ch/tags/soap" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>soap</span></a> <a href="https://tooting.ch/tags/soapmaking" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>soapmaking</span></a></p>
DoomsdaysCW<p>And yeah. I know how to make soap out of rendered animal fats and wood ash. If push comes to shove, pressing sunflower and olive oil (and coconut and palm) is way harder than rendering animal fat. Just saying. I know how to make soap out of things around me. And without soap, societies collapse pretty quickly.<br><a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/FightClub" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>FightClub</span></a> <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/Soapmaking" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Soapmaking</span></a></p>

Ulrike Heiß<p>Got a new book on making cleaning and laundry soap. Can't wait to try a few of the recipes. Although I have to admit that I'm not too keen on cleaning...<br><a href="https://eldritch.cafe/tags/SoapMaking" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SoapMaking</span></a> <a href="https://eldritch.cafe/tags/diy" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>diy</span></a></p>
Aaron C<p>We're running low on soap, so I made some last night. This is the same recipe I've used for a couple years now and it turned out great. The form was a little full and it expanded into cardboard I had covering it. No harm.</p><p>Very happy with the result!</p><p><a href="https://masto.ai/tags/SoapMaking" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SoapMaking</span></a></p>

Ulrike Heiß<p>Last night I finally got around to cutting the soap I had made last Friday. Luckily, it wasn't too hard to cut as I hadn't unmolded it yet. <br><a href="https://eldritch.cafe/tags/SoapMaking" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SoapMaking</span></a></p>
