It seems common that #Christians see “struggling” or “wrestling” with #God as something #spiritually immature or weak. Maybe even wrong. But #wrestling involves an almost intimate closeness. Wrestling with God implies God is drawn near. Not wrestling or even avoiding wrestling suggests a distance, a withdrawal. In times of turmoil, to avoid wrestling with God is to put God at a distance and assume He has little to say on the matter.

Just remember all you @philosophy, @taoism, and @zen fans, it doesn't matter how much you #practice your #trainig, or how much you learn, or how much you grow #spiritually...

...your #kids will always be able to break you.

#People are acquiring energetic attachments of all sorts and are #Clueless to what they are opening to - the #Ego is leading many astray.

#Chanukah is #spiritually drawing from above downward to illuminate the darkness; this is higher than the idea of haalaah, drawing from below to upward.
This is why Chanukah candles are lit after the sun sets, while the candles of the Beis Hamikdash were lit while it was still day.

While dealing with darkness is lower than dealing with light,
in terms of the service itself, hamshachah, illuminating the darkness, is higher.

#Everyone has a #Spirit and thus everyone is #Spiritual

Not every spirit is currently #Incarnated into #Physicality thus there are #Disembodied or non embodied spirits.

While some spirits are currently incarnated into physicality, not every physical #Manifestation of incarnation is #Spiritually aligned clearly enough to be consciously aware of their spirit - or the spirit of others.

A less acknowledged but disastrous consequence of Western #philosophy has been the #ecological ramifications of materialist reductionism that strips #meaning from the Earth and places it strictly within the bounds of our own heads. While not a strict entailment of #materialism, I don't think it's a surprise that Western philosophy has resulted in an extractive worldview that sees the Earth as barren matter or mere "resources." #physicalism has no room for the #sacred and fails us #spiritually
