Senators Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) and Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.), have amassed 82 sponsors and both Senate Majority Leader John Thune and Speaker Mike Johnson this week vocalized their support for confronting Russia on their continued attacks on Ukraine. This sanctions bill would do grave damage to Russia’s capacity to fund the war by targeting the countries still buying Moscow’s oil and gas, the lifeline of their economy.

We have watched time and time again as Trump offers his patented “two weeks” to Putin. Putin never moves. Trump always caves, and more civilians die in Ukraine as the rest of the GOP fails to stand up to the President.

This has gone on long enough. Stand with Ukraine. Stand with a significant majority of the American people. Slap more sanctions on anyone doing business with Russia. Do what needs to be done to make this a fair fight.

#Ukrainian strike damaged 2 #Russian military #aircraft — #MiG-31 & either a #Su-30 or #Su-34 fighter jet — at an #airfield used to launch #Kinzhal missile attacks, the General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces said on May 9.

Ukrainian drones attack struck #JSC VNIIR-Progress facility in #Russian city of #Cheboksary, #Chuvashia Republic, causing #explosions and massive fires, #Russian Telegram news channels reported in the early hours of June 9.

The #Ukrainian military confirmed that at least two drones struck the site, causing a large fire. The results of the strike are still being assessed.
