Summer heatwaves in our house almost always mean one thing --- remote recording sessions! Also - not one but FOUR @triofadolin shows this weekend -- two appearances at Met Museum and two shows at Queens Libraries on Saturday and Sunday ... ice those preamps and bring it on!

Our newly mown and trimmed garden below the studios. It rained about an hour after it was finished. Before the weekend the grass was chest high!

In between the rain this week, we finally put in a garden below the studios. Those patches have been unaddressed since we finished remodeling the out-buildings into studio two years ago, so it feels good to have finally done it!

I am giving the ADAM Audio S3H a spin against their bigger sisters, the S5H, and good grief they hold their ground and then more.

Which option do you gravitate towards in the #studio?
I ask because some of my friends and I regularly #rewire our spaces, take things apart, service them, clean them, reorganize #sample libraries, #plugin collections, etc. And we really enjoy this part of the #studiolife as well. #musicproduction #maintenance #linuxaudio

Today I opened an Ableton set from 2014 I thought I’d lost. Joy in a pleasant surprise was soon gone as I saw what a state the set was in. Like seriously in such disarray I couldn’t figure out what was where and when. Yet this set was used live and on my first ep. So I’ve obviously learned some things since then which is nice.
