Bill Minarik<p>Sorena Sorensen passed away this month.</p><p>Sorena was a long-time curator at the National Museum of Natural History of the Smithsonian Institution. She was also an insightful and talented researcher who studied the role of fluids in metamorphism of subduction-related rocks. Matt Willemsen<p>Submap is a web-based tool for generating maps, sections and datasets of subduction zones areas. Submap gathers basic "geodynamical" data such as bathymetry, seafloor age, earthquakes hypocenters, offshore free-air gravity...etc...
