What are the chances of this Labour government holding the Tech Bros who are helping the fascist insurrection around to task?
They'd rather lock up people protesting against Genocide than those who want to kill Refugees, they are not on our side

@liaamancio the problem is not "Ai is gonna take my job" because of LLMs (lack of) qualifications to do the job... it's the stupid tehcbros who want to force reality to fit their views which are, the LLM CAN do your job.

Because, you know, immediatism in "crEAtINg vALuE"

After the AI hustle collapses the next tech hustle will be Quantum Computing.

They'll watch the TV series Devs, and claim their product will build new Universes or something.
It won't work, it doesn't work like that, but that never stopped the Tech Bros.

@verge "But I think before we go about trying to change the nation or change the nation state, we should probably discuss that idea with the American people. So, in a nutshell, you have a group of super-rich elites with a very apocalyptic vision of where society and the world are headed, and they are rushing ahead with what they think is the solution, a solution that, by the way, will also put a crown on their heads."

#TechBros be solving lots of problems that don't exist.

I'm looking from a #disabled perspective. One #AI product being marketed to #blind folks is a #ChatBot that can answer questions about things you point your #phone's #camera at. I asked it to ID some pills in a blister pack, and I got an incorrect answer despite the information being printed /right there/. The #developer said to double-check "important" things.

WTAF?

Unfit for purpose.
