As Obama spoke in Pittsburgh, I was filling out my Illinois mail-in ballot. I had my phone in hand looking up the local Democratic slates of candidates and checking off the long lists of jurists seeking election or retention at voteforjudges.org

Suddenly, Obama said “Get up off the couch! Put down the phone!” and urged the rally crowd to get out and vote, volunteer, etc. I jumped to my feet, waving my freshly completed ballot in the air. And then I sat back down and finished my latest batch of #PostcardsToVoters for #SenatorSherrodBrown - they’re stamped and ready to go. That’s 50 written for him so far.
