Laren<p>About a month and a half ago I started a new Vampire game with some friends. Online only, ToTM, on Discord, using a mix of Demiplane and PDFs.</p><p>NGL, I fucking missed this. </p><p>The Anarch Baron is a tremere... Or is she? (Let's just say the new book gave me some really good ideas.) </p><p>The Camarilla are here and working on the same problem the coterie is. </p><p>One of the Coterie is, herself, Camarilla. Laren<p>TTRPG grumbling: </p><p>While I'm not generally a fan of D&D beyond's app, one thing I rather appreciate about it is the fact that I can just... Download all the books I own for totally offline access. There is a storage price to be paid for this, naturally, but I can accept that. </p><p>Compare this to Demiplane which uses a web interface exclusively. Laren<p>Actually *played* in a VTM 5e oneshot today, playing a tremere who made all the right choices. :D This reminded me, rather hard, that I *really* miss running Vampire.</p><p>It's not that I dislike D&D, make no mistake - it has its place - but it's fun when the characters aren't essentially superheroes and the world is hard and often weird.</p><p>Time to open a new project and consider recruiting online. I think it can be used to scientifically measure the absolute maximum amount of Toreador bullshit one can fit into a story.</p><p>It is such rotten Toreador bullshit all the way through that I need a full hour after an episode to lose the urge to finish every sentence I utter with "...dahling". We've been going for six months now and it's been a ton of fun.</p><p>My only complaint is there are ton of books, and some of the clan definitions are only in certain books.
