With more than 500 vendors, it is one of the largest Native American markets in the U.S. Food choices include regional specialties, like vendors with things like mutton, tamales, blue corn mush, and elotes.

Gallup Day Trip Canyon de Chelly National Monument is located about 1.5 hours from Gallup, with several potential stops along the way: Window Rock, Hubbell Trading Post, Nazlini Painted Desert, etc.
Red Rock Park features two of Gallup's most popular trails: Pyramid Rock Trail and Church Rock Trail. Pyramid Rock trail is a 3 mile round trip route to a summit providing breathtaking panoramic views.
