Ich muss ein wenig mit meinen Duschgedanken haushalten. Aktuell habe ich nur noch drei auf Halde – und neue lassen sich nicht immer erzwingen. Dafür krame ich hiermit meine gute alte Tagebuchblog-Rubrik “Die Woche” wieder aus und sinniere ein wenig über die letzten sieben Tage. Plusminus.

Fanzinezukunft

Schon deutlich über eine Woche her ist unsere Verlautbarung drüben beim fantastischen Fanzine World of Cosmos, wo ein paar Umbrüche anstehen. Wir versuchen dort unser einstmals gedrucktes #ScienceFiction-Fanzine in digitaler Form am Leben zu erhalten. Dabei ist es gar nicht mal das Problem, das vierteljährliche Heftchen immer voll zu kriegen. Die Handvoll #WoC-Aktiven sind sehr fleißig und beliefern den tapferen Chefredax stets mit zahlreichen Stories und Artikeln. Ernüchternder sind die Reichweite sowie die Reaktionsfreude der Lesendenschaft. Nun hat die damalige Printversion auch in ihren besten Zeiten nie eine größere Auflage als 100 erlebt – eine gewisse Relevanz im Fandom hatte sie dennoch und man tauschte sich in einem umfangreichen Leserbriefteil intensiv aus.

Das hat allerdings nichts mit veränderten Zeiten zu tun. Nichts läge mir ferner als nostalgische Verklärung. Sicherlich gibt es auch heute noch erfolgreiche Fanzines, einige davon dürften sogar den Sprung ins Digitale geschafft haben. Damals wie heute erfordert es schlicht und einfach viel Arbeit und Enthusiasmus, bei der Stange zu bleiben – und je älter man wird, desto mehr Aufgaben muss man unter einen Hut bringen. Die Zukunft bleibt also ungewiss – dennoch schreiten wir mit Zuversicht voran.

Kein Croissant für mich

Vor zwei Wochen habe ich mich ein bisschen darüber geärgert, dass es die Crossposting-App Croissant nur für den doofen Apfel gibt. Auch ich armer kleiner Android hätte gern so eine offenbar sehr elegante Möglichkeit gehabt, gleichzeitig auf #Bluesky, #Mastodon und Threads posten zu können. Naja, man kann nicht alles haben.

Ein Mü Comics

Tatsächlich und wahrhaftig in dieser Woche habe ich in das neue Format des formidablen Comicpodcasts Comicklatsch reingehört. Zu meiner Schande muss ich gestehen, dass ich dem #Podcast von Sandra, Melly und Ariane lange nicht mehr gelauscht habe. Unverzeihlich und unverständlich gleichermaßen, denn “Ein Mü Comics” – so der Titel des neuen Formats – ist eine ganz wunderbare Sache. In gewohnt kompetenter und unterhaltsamer Art und Weise werden sechs sehr interessante #Comics beziehungsweise Comicreihen vorgestellt. Da solltet ihr unbedingt mal reinhören!

So. Und jetzt muss ich zum nächsten Comicladen.

Und ja dazwischen gab's natürlich auch noch über 120 Vorträge, Workshops & mehr. Das gibts noch was in Staffel 22 zu bingen.
